I’ve been watching with interest the NZ Herald series on The State of Rugby in NZ.
NZ Rugby has been rooted in the ass because of one factor.
At age 7-16 the average Coconut is much larger than the Johnny white boy.
As a result we have seen un-level playing fields in junior rugby and this has resulted in Johnny white boy often spending the remainder of Saturday in the AandE ward with broken bones after being Jonah Lomu like run over attempting to tackle Sione.
As a result Johnny white boys mummy and daddy have been pulling him out of rugby and placing him in soccer until he gets bigger and more able to compete physically with Sione on Saturday.
New Zealand Rugby is over represented by the coconut factor at all levels and this has culminated in the phoenix like uprising of soccer in New Zealand.
Just go to the stadium to see this very real effect in the numbers of people watching and supporting soccer at top levels vs the number of people watching and supporting rugby.
It’s a no contest.
Compounding the problem is all the dead wood in the NZRFU who for some reason rely on staffing the joint in the same way as we find generations of civil servants in councils and parliament wearing the hand me down brown shoes, together with endless fucking around with the rules…!
The other thing that really fucks me is New Zealand are always referred to as world champions and the number 1 team in the world even as soon as one month after losing yet another world cup.
We are not world champions and haven’t been since 1987 and New Zealand will not win the next world cup with an ALL BLACK team.

And gone with it are all your personal and private information that enable them to lay judgement over us.
Even those of you who think you have no fear or nothing to hide are seriously misguided when it comes to the total impact on our lives of the digital age.
